Looking for a short sale? This condo in San Anselmo is open Sunday from 2-4pm.

Lots of people are talking about and interested in short sales.  I’ve written about them, and the process, in the past.

We currently have one listing that is a short sale - 13 C San Rafael Avenue in San Anselmo. We’ve just reduced the price to $579,000, a steal considering the owner paid $679,000 two years ago.  It’s beautifully done on the inside,  very unique, two bedrooms,  1.5 baths, and is literally one block from downtown San Anselmo, with it’s great restaurants and shopping. Location, location, location!

And did we mention there are only three units in the building?

Short sales can be brutally difficult, so to speed the process we are using Old Republic’s Short Sale Service. They are terrific at expediting the process, and  have a very high success rate at negotiating with lenders and making the transaction happen.  It still can take a while, but has a great chance of going through.
